This ‘House of Draconis’ story is sure to be a favorite among the High House universe fans as sparks fly in every direction in a very rocky romance. The hero and heroine are full of sizzling chemistry and turbulent emotions that takes its toll throughout this relationship which keeps Liz and Valla on very unsure ground with each other. There may be some past emotional issues from both but mostly this relationship is plagued by the differences in their lives and the secrets they are holding back.
The fast paced plot never has a dull moment as the couple try to reach an understanding but it also has the added suspense and excitement of two separate investigations headed by each of them. These investigations collide in a powerful and deadly twist that dazzle the reader with its awesomeness and has them holding their breath in anticipation. The author certainly deserves kudos for the way she brings the whole story to life and the vivid imagery of the ‘knock your socks off’, amazing battles that takes place during this exhilarating, spark flying romance.

Riley is one of those early-morning people you love to hate, because she swears she doesn't need caffeine, even though the coffee-maker is connected to her smartphone.
