Review! Clandestine Lovers (Friendship Chronicles #3) Shelley Munro!

I am taking part in a reality show - one where the Farmer Seeks a Wife! Enjoy and don't forget to add CLANDESTINE LOVERS by Shelley Munro to your shelves!

Think finding the perfect lover is difficult?

Ask Susan Webb—she knows it is. Lonely, tired of dull routine and dud men who only think with their lower brains, she takes a calculated risk to shake up her lackluster life.

Now she’s set to take part in a reality dating show. Her objective: to find a good, honest man who’s up for enjoying lots of sexy fun on the road to love. Failure is not an option.

One look at his older brother’s Farmer Seeks a Wife candidate, and Tyler Penrith is intrigued. Prim and proper on the surface, she has a secret smile in her eyes and an exotic dancer sway to her step. And calamity follows her around like a tame dragon.

Susan might be in his brother’s age group, but Tyler’s not about to let Nolan waltz off with the first woman to snare his attention in ages.

As the show’s ratings go through the roof, Susan finds herself falling for the wrong man—and her simple plan for happiness on the brink of falling apart.

Warning: Contains sibling rivalry, lots of sneaking around, sexy times in the great outdoors, a bright blue vibrator, and a reality show that’s giving everyone something to talk about.

Lonely, tired of dull routine and dull men who only think with their lower brains, Susan Webb takes a calculated risk to shake up her lackluster life. Now she’s taking part in a reality show to find a good, honest man and failure is not an option. Tyler Penrith took one look at his older brother’s Farmer Seeks a Wife candidate and was smitten and he’s not about to let Nolan waltz off with the first woman to snare his attention in ages.

This story of ‘Love and Friendship’ is a refreshing different and delightfully fun read with lots of gripping emotions, red hot passion and a bit of snark. Susan and Tyler are two strong, vibrant characters that stand out and catch readers’ attention while the chemistry between them sizzles with high intensity electrical current. The romance between them however is on the sneaky side as they try to hide their growing feelings from Tyler’s brother and of course from the crew of the show which causes quite a bit of stress and guilt.

The story is fast paced with some surprising twists and turns that keeps everyone wondering just what is going on and will Susan’s plan for happiness blow up in her face or will she get everything she wanted and then some. There is quite a bit of meaness in the show that adds some snark and emotional distress to the story but there is also support, loyalty and friendship and the spectacular conclusion to both the story and the reality show is stunning OMG surprise!

USA Today bestselling author Shelley Munro lives in Auckland, the City of Sails, with her husband and a cheeky Jack Russell/mystery breed puppy.

Typical New Zealanders, Shelley and her husband left home for their big OE soon after they married (translation of New Zealand speak – big overseas experience). A twelve month long adventure lengthened to six years of roaming the world. Enduring memories include being almost sat on by a mountain gorilla in Rwanda, lazing on white sandy beaches in India, whale watching in Alaska, searching for leprechauns in Ireland, and dealing with ghosts in an English pub.

While travel is still a big attraction, these days Shelley is most likely found in front of her computer following another love – that of writing stories of romance and adventure. Other interests include watching rugby and rugby league (strictly for research purposes), and curling up with a good book.
