The pace is steady and continuously builds the suspense of this relationship and the answers to several questions. The strong, unforgettable characters engage in a game of pretend that has some very high stakes indeed with lots of feistiness and stubbornness that has sparks flying in every direction along with a complicated family dynamic between Ty and his brothers that adds to the volatile emotions of this emotionally gripping romance that readers don’t want to put down.

MY REVIEW

She’s fighting a losing battle against a jealous rival’s curse that forces Jasmine to seek carnal pleasure, no matter the danger. Max has a raw sexuality that just might be enough to break the curse, so Jasmine only has one choice – imprison him in her bed and feed on his passion. He’s no woman’s sex slave, but Mike senses her vulnerability and desperation. Mike resurrects his telekinetic power to free himself so he can find the curse’s source and defeat it before the curse takes Jasmine’s life.

‘The Yearning’ is a very suspenseful, engaging story that is as scorching hot as it is emotionally gripping ensuring that readers can’t put the story down.  The characters are strong and believable, making sure that readers can understand that everything that they are going through and the relationship is full of steamy, red hot passion and turbulent emotions that singes the readers’ fingertips as they turn the pages. The plot is steady paced and while it doesn’t have a lot of action and the finding of and dealing with of the jealous rival is a little on the fast side, it still has the readers biting their nails in suspense and wonder, while also providing a few chuckles.

The first book in the ‘Coven of the Raven’ series is a stunning, original story that is full of thrills that readers can become lost to. The characters are strong and compelling, easily drawing readers in and keeping them engaged with their memorable story. The chemistry between sizzles with electricity but this relationship is in no way guaranteed as two major obstacles stand in their way – a death curse and an evil witch, which keeps the emotions turbulent and the relationship a difficult path of overcoming every rock placed in its way.

The plot is fast paced and full of edge of your seat suspense as the decisions facing Oskar are choices that could free him and Mylla or they could spell doom for both of them. The conflict is further complicated by the evil spells that Thomas has in place, his evil deeds that prolong his life and the riddles of the goddess that doesn’t exactly inspire Oskar’s confidence. Readers can’t help but enjoy this thrilling original story as it weaves its own spell – one that keeps them turning the pages.
